Why????

Dear Friendslist,

We know that we have been busy with preparations for Expo and then NDK shortly thereafter. So maybe we haven't been as up with current happenin's as everyone else. However we are confused why no one thought it neccesary to tell us that X-men 3 both simultaniously sucks and blows at the the same time ( Read more... )

Oh, whoops... Didnt know you needed the warning. But yeah, it soooooo blows. Cannon, what is this myth you speak of? Oh yeah, its that thing that movie producers rarely care about.

I found bits that I enjoyed (like Hank), but they were scattered few and far between.

lol

I did enjoy Beast, I wish he had been around in the earlier movies. I also wish that Nightcrawler was there, they really could have used him. T_T

Yes, him or coherent plot, either one.

Hey, don't blame me. I told Mako-chan, and I quote, that X-Men 3 was the "cheese-balliest" movie ever made, and I proudly stand by that statement. And while my canon-o-meter was technically blaring, I feel that it's hard to criticize when the "official" storyline contains mind-boggling twists involving possession, clones, multiple realities, time travel, possessed clones from the future of another reality, and a character apparently named "Lifesaver".

Oh, and since you guys have seen in now, dude, wtf happened to Cyclops?

Poor Scott (and when I say this I mean poor James Marsden). T_T That was just bad. I mean he does always have his panties in a twist but that has be to one of the worst deaths ever, especially because we didn't even know that he had died. I mean really!

Oh, please. This is X-men. THAT was not an X-men death, which is why I think they're all just being morons and mourning when they should be, say, looking for a hot memory-less man in a ditch. He created a cocoon of power with his eye lasers; hell if I know.

For the record, I thought I HAD told you, I mean seriously I said it was a crapfest to pretty much EVERYONE else. (altho, to be fair, I haven't even SEEN X3, after Troy killed my inner child I have a ridiculously low tolerance for "oo, we should REWRITE this popular story" crapfests)

Don't mock it till you've tried it for yourself. =P

I saw like 10 minutes of Troy and my reaction is pretty much the same as X3. "What the hell?!?!"

Personally, I think future Marvel movies should just be two hours of this.

And if you want some Nightcrawler action, here ya go.

P.S. Downloading them might make them a little easier to watch. ^_^

Killing off Cyclops just RUINED the movie for me because it goes against EVERYTHING Pheonix is. I was seriously like, "Wait... SHE DID-NO FUCKING WAY!! THAT'S BULLSHIT!!!" *insert MandiSMASH here* Not to mention Betsy got screwed. Freaking-a, leave her out of the movie if you are going to demote her to a half-asses side character. Argh. >.<

So while it WAS fairly accurate to the comic in some places and I understand why they did some things, I did not really like the movie. -.- But then again, considering how many characters they were trying to focus on, I'm not surprised it was rather on the sucktastic side.
