SGA sadface

So, I tried denial, but now I appear to have skipped right over anger and bargaining to sadness. Oh, SGA, why you gotta be so lame? I still don't hate Keller/McKay (although people have made some good arguments as to the issues with it, and I do agree with some of them), but MAN, the episodes are just - ugh.

Did we really need another zombie/horror/first-person shooter episode last night? Really? I did enjoy Todd and Sheppard's "you're so not my boyfriend anymore, and by the way, I want my ring back" moment - that was kind of awesome. But honestly? The episode barely held my attention! Which is just ridiculous!

Someone commented elsewhere that it feels like these episodes are just phoned in, scriptwise, and I gotta say: absolutely. Even the actors don't seem like they're having such a good time these days. *more sadface* Rodney is barely even Rodney anymore - can we have him be a total assface to someone and then storm off in a divafit? I miss that. And Ronon and Teyla, unless the episode is ABOUT them, have had fuckall to do this season (and it's been a while since a Ronon ep).

Argh. Okay, this is just whining, it's not helpful, I know. But seriously. There have been about three episodes this season I've really enjoyed, a few more I've liked mildly, and many more I've felt completely unattached to. THIS IS NOT A HALLMARK OF EXCELLENT TELEVISION, WRITERS. Gah.

Okay, stopping now. I'm just sad, that's all.
