I went to bed eventually. but not after Mr. Pi said "So THAT'S how they met Teyla."

Me: "How did you THINK they met her?"
Mr. Pi: "I dunno. Intergalactic stripper bar?"

Was it just me or was there a whole lotta Shep/Teyla shipping subtext going on in Rising Part I? WEIRD.

I think that in the beginning the writers didn't know which way they were going with the ship, so they put a lot of subtext in. Personally I think there was a lot of John/Teyla subtext throughout, lol. Then they also through in some John/Elizabeth subtext, just to confuse us :)

I love how there's all this subtext with John and girls, but Rodney's the one who ends up with one, lol.

PS - Mr. Pi's comments make me think he had a lot of Princess Leia fantasies growing up...
