2. No! I loved the fez, immediately and instinctively, probably because it's 'cool'. I was very upset until I heard it was definitely making a reappearance.
3. I have wept over so many deaths and departures on Spooks, and I was sure this would be worse than all of them - and then they took the character apart in an unfathomable way (he doesn't even have a cause like Connie), and I was quite glad it was over when it was. My response at the end of S7 or even S8 would have been hysterical weeping, which was what I wanted.
8. Thank you. I'm glad you understand. If you don't tell him about Ben, I won't mention Matt. It's the curse of long, beautiful, expressive grabby hands. IKR? I need him to be in something again really soon, and he won't be, and it's really not that I'm fickle, because I'm just not, but...argh!
10. Trufax! Reigning champion-ness is awesome!
12. Same, absolutely. I had no idea it was going to happen and how understately it did. Everyone loves Rory - I think it's the law.
Ooh so many shows I don't know, but they seem very interesting :D
Totally agree on Rory :D
And just KNEW who you meant by long, beautiful, expressive grabby hands. I specifically remember being mesmerised by them at the Old Vic XD
Btw, I was just thinking that I forgot to say: OMG THE POOL IS NEAR WHERE YOU LIVE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? *faints* why had I not thought of that before as I knew where you lived and knew where the pool was!!! Does that mean you can go and see the shoot when in May when they start it up again? XD
Which ones have passed you by? They do all come highly recommended.
Thought you might... ;D
They are mesmerising. I always notice hands anyway, but I think everyone must notice Benedict's. They're lovely.
Hee! Yep, it's literally down the road and round the corner and thus is where I learnt to swim. I didn't realise until I heard the commentary, though, and then I started shrieking that IT'S THE BRISTOL SOUTH! I doubt they'll be back. If they needed any more scenes, I expect they'll have shot them at the same time for continuity and economy, in the hope S2 would be commissioned anyway. (How I would love to be wrong on that, though!)
Miranda, Whitechapel, Misfits, Garrow’s Law. Don't know them :)
SAME!! I always notice hands. I can actually fall for hands LOL Silly I know..
That is SO cool :D It's one of those: I learnt to swim where Sherlock got blown up-type things that do really well on fangirl meetings birthdays XD Yeah you're probably right. You should totally keep an eye out though :D
I think that Garrow's Law should be easy enough to get hold of through sherlockbbc, as Rupert Graves is a regular cast member, and Andrew Scott guest-starred this series. I might be able to help with Whitechapel. I'll do some hunting. I have a feeling you'd love Miranda, but I have no idea where to get hold of it online - ditto Misfits.
Not that silly.
IKR!? Walking past it is a highlight of every day, and I've no intention of missing any sudden reappearances of film crews...
I've got to say, the treatment of Lucas in s9 has damaged my RA-love too. Not that I love him any less at all, it's just that there were other things to be all enthusiastic about, and they misused Lucas so much... This reminds me, I completely forgot to put Strikeback in there anywhere - it feels like so long ago that I forgot it was this year! Porter definitely counts as another TV boyfriend :)
And I forgot to put Morgause in as my other TV girlfriend too, oops!
I don't know how much it was my Lucas apathy, but it definitely didn't help. He's been a tiny bit off in some interviews, too, and I always used to feel so comfortable when I read or listened to anything he said that I noticed the difference more than I might have. IDK. Then Benedict came along, in a role that made me interested, and proved to be an adorable boy. RA wasn't deposed anything like immediately, but that's probably made it worse.
You better fix that quick, or she'll fix the scary-eye thing on you, bb!
I get a weird distancing vibe from him now in interviews and such. Which in particularly peevish moments makes me want to whop him on the head. I'd like to put it down to possible disenchantment with various characters and the way they were handled. I sincerely hope it isn't the way he's going to be from now on with a movie career, because he's always been so charming and seemingly accessible. Not so much anymore. *iz sad*
Yes, that's it exactly. I think after the crazy people started writing to him to complain about whatever it was going on (I missed most of it, and what I did hear made me cringe), he backed off a bit, and the character assassinations can't have helped either.
So far it's a good bunch heading out to New Zealand, so maybe it will help.
Now is a very good time to be a British fangirl, 'tis true.
I feel treacherous over the Richard thing. I don't think I knew it was happening until it was too late, and I denied it for a bit, but it seemed like time to confess. (Don't mention it to Guy, whatever you do. I'll always adore him, whatever happens. ;P)
Guy is The Adorable One and he knows it, I'm sure. ;-) Since he and Sherlock are in such different eras, surely he can't object to much?

That's how it goes, isn't it? Falling in love with new TV boyfriend and all. I fell out of love with Colin Firth, it's about 10 years ago now . It just happened, as these things will... I still love some of the things he's in and he's been in a good flow lately. RA's done a lot this year, but they more or less put him in the same situation over and over. He's delivering! But I miss Guy - so much!
