Atrophy In The Library

Wow. There were so many different styled fics, and it was a fun experience :) I signed up on a whim, and I'm glad I did. Am proud of fic, and flattered and happy that people enjoyed it.

LATE and SEVERELY LONG Review!! Part 2 keres017 May 10 2006, 21:11:28 UTC
So those are the lines that were my favorites, but other than that, I really like how subtle and poetically written this story is - it's set up in a way that there's the minimal amount of words, yet so much detail and description. That's the way all stories should go, you know? It might be a bigger plus for me because I'm a minimalist in general too :) It was so incredibly easy to read, it was sectioned right, and the length was PERFECT. I love one-shots, but there aren't very many that are the perfect length, perfect detailing, and flow of words like yours, so I'm entirely grateful that you wrote it. I'm really picky about what makes a fic an awesome pick - I mean REALLY picky (even though I don't have a right to since I don't write, really :P) and this is one of them. To me, a great fic is something that I can read over and over again and never get tired of. Again, this fic is one of them ( ... )

Hiya! Wow, thank you for the detailed review! It's a great feeling to know someone really enjoyed something you wrote. A positive response is especially great in regards to Atrophy because it was a relatively unfamiliar ship...I'd done a couple D/Hr ficlets and drabbles, a one-shot, but that was it. It was surprisingly easy just because the premise hit me when I was half asleep and I just dragged myself up and tapped out about 90% of it that night.

So let me try to answer your questions :) And no fear - I was vague on certain points, so it's certainly not your fault!

“It’s enough that I know.” You pretty much interpreted that one as I hoped people would see it - that Draco doesn't have to tell his father to get a lecture about what he's doing because he's torturing himself with what it means already ( ... )

I've read this years ago and I never got the chance to tell you how much I loved this. I loved the idea of it all and how it was all passive. I dont know how to describe it but Im so used to Draco and Hermion shoting at each other and argueing that what you did was "quiet". You managed to make their interactions passive and silent, how it all gradually came to Hermione's gratitude and Draco's lax behavior.. I loved it all

Hi! Thank you so much for your review of this. I haven't written fic in a long time, but when I look back, this was probably one of the stories I still feel proud of for producing - and feedback is always welcome!

Thank you!
