SO! Continuing from chapter 69, Mikan was hurt by Persona's ALICE whilst saving Natsume from getting hurt.
Her life was in very much danger (not even Hotaru's brother could save her)... However, she was saved by the ALICE stone she had in hand, which, apparently no one knew how she got it.
Tono-senpai and the rest were very worried at the mysterious appearance of the stone, just as he was about to bring Mikan to the hospital, they noticed that the stone was actually healing Mikan. They thought that Mikan created that stone on her own, then they thought it was Persona's stone (because it was black), finally, Syuuichi and Subaru concluded that the stone was Mikan's because of the nature of the stone --- ALICE Stealing.
Both Syuuichi and Subaru had an elder senior in the school that both of them liked a lot. And they were aware of that senior's ALICE, it was "ALICE Stealing".
Tono was very puzzled by the fact that Mikan possessed such ALICE in her body, there could only be 2 possiblities, they were, either Mikan inherited it or it was by coincidence. However, the latter was not possible because such ALICE is too rare.
Both Syuuichi and Subaru suspected that Mikan might be their favourite senior's child but both said nothing, while Tono reasoned that Mikan inherited that ALICE...(yup~ our dear Mikan has 2 ALICEs without knowing it~~)
Then someone said that the marks on Mikan's arm were beginning to disappear as well as her fever....
Some days later, students of the News Club were distributing news on the Hyuuga Fire case, which Natsume got blamed for it, and news on his sister.
Mikan's body had recovered completely after one week's rest.
Iinchou, Hotaru and even You-chan (plus the rest of B Class) came visiting Mikan.
Kokoroyomi and Kitsuneme were worried for Mikan too!! Both of them were shocked to see Mikan's weak body when she was carried into the room.
Sumire was worried about whatever that had happened at the Princess Party. However it is, both Mikan and Hotaru were forbidded
to say anything related to it because of several reasons (nothing important though.. those usual rules...)
Then, Mikan heard that while she was unconcious, You-chan was hospitalised.
Reason was because You-chan stole some of Hotaru's Caliber sweets (your body will grow or shrink according to the number writeen on the wrapper) and ate them, thus his body was grown to his 13-year-old look. However, he was not able to recover to his 3-year-old body so he had to be admitted to the hospital. Meanwhile, all of Hotaru's CAliber sweets were confiscated by Misaki-sensei ^0^
Although You-chan was back to his 3-year-old look, he is now able to 'grow' and 'shrink' his body on his own (meaning he has 2 ALICEs?!)... =.="
Speaking of hospital, Mikan was updated on Aoi's news. Aoi was admitted to the academy's hospital as well. She went through Memory and Sight Recovery ALICEs treatment and the school is willing to return her to her family after she has recovered.
So coincidentally, it happened to be on the same that Mikan had recovered that Aoi will be leaving. Thus, Mikan and Hotaru went to see her off.
Because the school wanted to make it as secretly as possible, Aoi was arranged to leave by the back door.
Ruka, Natsume, Tsubasa and Misaki were present.
Aoi was very happy to see her and that she thought that Mikan was as cute as what she had imagined back at her cell when she was locked up by Persona.
Kokoroyomi commented that Aoi was really cute and she does not look like Natsume (he got glared by him XDDD)
Then, Aoi asked about Mikan's condition. She told her that she has already recovered but she did not know why. She asked Tono-and Hotaru's brother for the reason, both of them claimed that they did not know. She was only told that she recovered on her own.
However, Tono had been teasing her by telling her to steal his ALICE and challenge her to make a stone.
Mikan had, totally no clue what he was talking about and just believed that she recovered on her own ^0^/
Just as everyone was happy about the fact that the bad days had gone, Natsume was not really happy.
He said suddenly, "Oi, isn't this suppose to be a secret? Who are those people (Kokoroyomi, Kitsuneme,Iinchou and Sumire..) behind?" and after that he started pinching Mikan on her cheek.
One of them said that because Natsume had found his sister, thus the reason for him to stay in the academy is gone. They were worried if Natsume would leave together with his sister or escape on his own.
That brought a sudden silence as Natsume recalled on what Aoi had said to him when he visited her.
Aoi had asked her brother to leave together with her because she did not want to be left alone again.
Ruka and Mikan were both worried, of course, Sumire too... =.=""
Then Natsume said, "I am not leaving."
Then back on the flashback at the hospital with Aoi.
Natsume replied to his sister, "Aoi, i can't leave yet. All of my friends are here. Ruka... and the rest that had helped me.. i can't leave them alone here...we will definitely meet again. Definitely. Wait for me, Aoi."
End of flashback...
Aoi said, "Mikan, Ru-chan (because Natsume mentioned Ruka to her using that name), everyone, i am counting on you for my brother. i am really happy that i am able to meet all of you. Not in this form... but imagining myself as an ALICE, living here, spending each day with everyone happily, i am really happy to meet all of you. I will be building a home together with Dad that Brother can return to anytime at home. I will be waiting. So, some day, just some day, i believe that we will be able to meet again laughing together. Until that day, i will be waiting."
In Aoi's heart, she was really glad that Natsume was able to meet so many friends that understood him and that she would have to make a step forward, just like her brother.
Just then, after Aoi thanked everyone from the bottom of her heart, somebody shouted Natsume at the gate.
It was Natsume and Aoi's Dad and Ruka's Mom.
Aoi and Natsume ran towards their dad and hugged tightly while Ruka went over to his mom.
That scene did not last long, Natsume and Ruka were asked to return to the school the minute they saw their parents.
Mikan was totally touched by the reunion that she said, "i suppose the day when i see Grandpa will come...?"
Then she remembered that she had caused huge trouble to the school since that party incident, thus her actions will be observed tightly by the school principal. Tsubasa agreed and that Hotaru added that if they were not careful, their Star level will decrease as well.
Mikan was then sobbing that if her star is taken away, she would be back to 'Hoshinashi' (no star).
Then Ruka took out his stars from his pocket and remembered how he got them.
"Your friend's happiness depends on your performance."
He thought that those stars he got had tied Natsume down (because Natsume had to do some things so that Ruka can have a 'good' life in school). He got them out of his pocket and threw them away.
Natsume, Mikan and Sumire were shocked to see him do that.
Ruka explained, "i feel so relieved now! I am now an 'hoshinashi', just like Sakura!"
He thought in his heart that it's ok, even if i am now at zero or at a minus number, no matter what darkness lies ahead of us, we will always be your (Natsume) light. If it's to protect that smile (Mikan's smile), no matter where it is, i believe Natsume already had that preparation.
