Hmm...I think Luna may be the Principal guy's sister or something. IF she really is that age...which I don't think she is. (She knew(?) Mikan and Natsume's mothers...)

I don't think Luna is doing this fully on her accord, someone had to have told her that Mikan was at Alice Gakuen...
