yeah, honesty is hard to see and believe when you've been lied to before, even if you've only been lied to once. but sometimes you just have to believe it even if you can't see it. it's one of the hardest things you'll ever do, but worth it just the same if you come out with a truly honest answer. and if you just get lies from that person, don't forget to give the next person as much credit as they deserve because that person isn't the one who lied to you in the first place.

(read: you can't base one person's possible future actions on another person's completed past actions)

Yeah.. that's what I'm trying to do. To me.. even not telling the entire truth or "loopholes" is a form of lying to me. Which is what causes issues with me.
