This beginning is promising. It sets the right mood, and that's consistent with the show. But there isn't much to say because action only really starts in chapter 2.

One thing I've always wondered about was Olive's age. I always assumed she was older than Ned, the question being how much older.

Let's see chapter 2...

Yes, there is a DEFINITE lack of action here, sorry! But yeah, it all kicks off in chapter 2. I wonder about Olive's age as well, I think she probably IS older, I just have no idea, so I did those ages for effect. heehee. Ned/Olive <3

I actually squeaked when I read the crossover, haha.

This line broke my heart: Strong arms performed the most delicate tasks in a perfectionist manner and his tousled hair flopped just so into his eyes. It was no wonder that retrieving her heart from him was becoming a difficult and near impossible task, even though he had precious idea that he held it.

Possibly cause it really resonates with me, possibly cause it's really beautifully written, probably both :3

Ooooh I'm so glad you liked that line! It's my favourite part, too :D

Awesome intro. I could actually hear the Pushing Daisies narrator talking my head as I was reading :)

Yay, Pushing Daisies/Doctor Who crossover, since this is a Doctor Who crossover, instead of the usual PD narrator, I'm hearing Tom Baker

Also think one of the best shows for Crossing over with Doctor Who is Pushing Daisies, similar levels of quirkiness on both shows!

Pushing Daisies is also the perfect show for picnics, I can just see Chuck in a nicely colored dress, in contrast to very green grass and a beautiful blue sky.

You are keeping all the PD character in character very nicely, and a Kiwi pie sounds yummy (Kiwi pie made from fruit, and not New Zealanders).

So far so good, onto the next chapter!

Oh my god! I never even thought of that! Yeah Tom Baker does great narration. Like on Little Britain XD

Yes, that's just why I love them both, so almost equally. I say almost because due to the fact it's been a major part of my life for the last four years, Doctor Who probably edges in front just a teeny bit :)

I laughed way too much at your second interpretation of Kiwi pie, hahaha!
