ooooooo! i got a new accordian today! i went to flea market on my lunch break from work with my friend and we were looking at my favorite 50 pence table when low and behold there was the amazing old beauty of an accordian on the table to the left. it's weird really becuase i have been looking for a new one for weeks. mine is so old broken in many

ooo accordians indeed! Abraham would love an accordian but I've not found one in my travels, and neither has he. Perhaps they're less common over here? ( I've only ever met one person who played one even!)

hello rhiannon...i am learning slowly to play it. thankfully any projects i would get involved in are sort of weird so i don't need to play it well! heehee! you should buy one if you see on though because they are so fun! hope you are well! i was thinking of you kaka....i'm glad you told me about that! how weird that i should actually find on at a flea market during accordian appreciation month! pictures posted later today! olivia! i have been meaning to write to you, but have been distracted--i am sad to report--by not the most exciting or fun of events. however, i totally agree with you about living closer and us being friends! my ex b-friend was (and still is) a really great klezmer accordionist, and he taught me a bit of the old squeezebox as well. if we lived in the same town we could have a crazy accordion duo! i am not quite terrible, but i do have a lot of heart. i played the moog in a band in college, so at least i have the keyboard down. anyway, i was thinking i would write you a paper letter. what do you say?! transatlantic penpals?

so glad to hear from you...i too have been distracted so worry not! it would be amazing if i had a friend to be accordian playing with. there are not really any people around here i click with actually. moving is hard! i totally agree that we should be penpals! sounds lovely! i will write you a letter very soon and send you some nice things from england!
