I have a little slip on paper on my desk that says "Age is nothing but a number." I looked at it a moment ago and could have sworn it said "Age is nothing but a cucumber." This made perfect sense to me--of course age is a cucumber!--and based on that fact, I'm going home now.

This whole cucumber thing doesn't work for me. Wouldn't it make more sense if age were a pickle?

I can see the logic in that, although I am inclined to trust the slip of paper on my desk when it says cucumber. Wise little slip of paper!
