Making A Big Move!

After about 8 years on Livejournal I'm thinking about making the big move over to blogspot. I'm pretty sure you guys can still just follow me through your LJ friend's page. I have to look into everything and figure it all out yet. I know that I follow some blogs (like Heide Kenney's) that aren't on LJ, but I see them on my LJ friend's page

i wanna do this too...but it would just be an em&sprout account. i think lj's dying a slow, sad death.

Yes I thoughy LJ seemed to be dying too. It's actually very sad to me :( I don't know what caused this death to start???

Also, unless I'm mistaken...I think that peeps who don't have a Livejournal account can't comment on entries. I wanted to do a giveaway, but thought it kinda stunk that only LJ peeps can join in the fun. And I wouldn't want people to have to sign up for LJ just to take part.

That's what I thought too....and also if I'm not mistaken I don't think you can comment on lj posts if you aren't logged into an lj account?

I've been adding a few blogs to my google reader thingie. Trying to poke around and learn more about blogspot and other blogs, I've been locked into LJ for years and never really explored anything else.

I have already moved to Blogpsot, but I am keeping my LJ too. Most of the time I just copy and paste my blogpsot to LJ. I am keeping LJ because I know I get sales from it.

Hmmmmm I definitely see your point. I thought about doing that too, but I think I'm going to try to keep everything on blogspot only after a little while. I am very attached to LJ though, so that may not last too long. hehehe
