Sep 10, 2009 01:40

Little background info first: We called our landlady about a leaky ceiling 3 days ago. She never called us back. No call, no message, no nothing. Our rent is 3 days late. We are really good tenants and pay rent on time, our schedules have just been crazy cuz of school, so we didn't get to the bank yet. Now onto the story ( Read more... )

yea that's not cool. especially nowadays. I don't know how your area is but here we have break ins in the neighborhood all the time so having someone just appear in your basement can sure be a fright! she was completely in the wrong and I can't believe she had the nerve to even send a letter like that to you!! good for you for sending a response! I hope she sees she's in the wrong.

Yes nevermind the whole unexpected, rude, unannounced visit. Doesn't she realize someone just walking towards you through your basement might freak the shit out of someone? I COULD NOT BELIEVE she sent that passive aggressive fucking letter of, "oh I'm so sweet and nice and care about you guys how could you be so mean to me?"

I'm late to the discussion, but wanted to give you my $0.02 that I agree with your email to your landlady.

Hehehe thanks! I don't know why this wouldn't seem weird and illegal to her?

1st - wow, that is very rude of her to do and I totally understand your reaction.

2nd - when and why did you get back with Andy?

I got back together with him about a month after we broke up. I know this seems quick (because it is quick), but luckily I have not regretted it for a second. He said he would change everything and he did. My entire life is different then it was just a few short months ago and I'm happier than I've ever been. I never really wanted to break up, but I never wanted anything to do with drugs or heavy drinking. Long story short, after a lot of talking, a lot of tears, and a lot of drastic changes, life feels how it was always meant to be.

I rent a townhouse and I think it's OK for my Landlord to walk in when he wants....he just wouldn't. Never ever consider it really...I'll have to check my lease. Still my Landlord would come pounding on the door or just call me.

That would piss me off too considering you two could have been screwing and she could have had a eye full.

Honestly what if one of you owned a gun? She could have been shot or something.

She's kind of rock-stupid, so I don't think it ever occurred to her that it could be dangerous.
