I had a bunch of vegan body product recipes, but I think they are on my old hard drive :( If you can find an Indian Market, they sell herbal toothpaste.( and its really cheap too) One of the main ingredients is betel nut which cleans your teeth and your breath. chewing on betal nut alone is good for your teeth. it tastes like licorice. Also when they are in season strawberries are known to whiten your teeth.

Ooh Ooh! I has one!

-1 lime to zest
-1 cup baking soda
-20 drops of mint or peppermint oil
-Zester
-And obviously, a jar

1] zest the lime rind, being careful to stop grading when you reach the white part of the fruit
2] let the zest dry for about two hours
3] put zest, baking soda, and mint\peppermint oil into jar and, with lid tightly screwed on, shake well
4] dip toothbrush into shaken mixture and brush! <3

It says in the book I got the recipe from that when you use it for a while, then go back to store bought toothpaste, store bought stuff tastes really chemical-y.
