Andy told me that when I pushed our child's head out into the world his eyes were wide open, just looking around. He said our baby looked like a fat little Hawaiian when he popped out. God do I wish I would have had the sense to tell people to take some pictures while I was in labor. I would have loved to been able to see that!!!

Me too! Robert told me that when the took Rhys out of my abdomen (c-section) that for 10 seconds he was just a screaming head sticking out of my naked belly.

It's weird how they're just alive and chilling in there. doing all the sorts of things they'd be doing if they weren't. My little guy is going to be 1 on Sat. and I'm having all sorts of mom panic attacks about the time flying by and the fact that I will never again have him as a newborn.
