do you ever go to the movies alone?

i do. i usually spot my secret otherhalf there, but being so alike, we're both too afraid to make contact. makes for a lonely world & a quiet life.

i went to go see "away we go" today alone! i actually find it quite soothing. it feels more like the movie is just for me.

yeah, i like that feeling. all your attention is on your relationship with the film, rather than wondering what the other person is feeling....or in some cases, questioning how it feels to have your knees or arms touch, or wondering whether that other person is also thinking about how good it feels to have small bits of body parts collide in the dark. eep

i live alone in a city that's not my hometown, so i invariably end up doing a lot on my own. it is nothing to complain about, actually. i do recommend the alone-at-the-movies experience. go for it!

I've been to a movie alone a few times, it was quite nice but I can't help feeling a bit awkward when I buy the ticket.
It's nice to see you posting again. :)
