the elixir of life - TV

Now, that I'm home, let's get down to business.

Which means the TV that I have been watching.

I've caught the middle of quite a few TV shows.

a) Dexter - I've seen one episode, I'm sold. I WANT TO SEE THEM ALL NOW. Seriously, if you can make a serial killer a humane(sort of) family man who chops baddies on the side, then you are awesome. I WILL WATCH ( Read more... )

I've never watched Dexter or Community, but I can tell you that Modern Family and Leverage are fantastic. I haven't watched Leverage in about a year, since I don't have cable anymore, but it's definitely quality TV. It's like a mini movie in every episode. And it's really interesting. Parker is my favorite. Because she's a freak. And Modern Family, I've seen the first season on DVD, which is hysterical. They seriously have perfect casting on that show. I haven't seen the second season; I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD. I've heard it's just as good though. And I think Modern Family is something you can watch in any order. Leverage has some continuous plot lines though, so I'd recommend starting from the beginning.

Leverage is one of my favourite shows. I caught the first season, missed half the second season - which I didnt want to watch cause no Sophie, no like and now I'm somewhere in the third season. I LOVE the cast, they all have such perfect chemistry with each other. It's so fun to watch. :)

Yes, I'm beginning to realize that with Modern Family, I dont need no continuity. I can watch it without hassles. :)

You watched Community last night too?? :P Spoiler: All the episodes don't have zombies :P

When is Modern Family season 2 starting?? Star World, right?

Oh, if you watch TV, and if you watch Disney India, there's no wowp on unless you're ready to stay up till 2.30 at midnight to catch it :/ if you come across "Best of Luck Nikki" by any chance, tell me if you find it annoying or not :P

Finally, enjoy being at home honey!!!! :)

Thank you. But I think I'll watch on account of Abed and Troy's bromance. The show seems fun in general. :)

Modern Family, no clue. My brother however has downloaded quite a few episodes so, I got a head start on them.

I have NO clue at all as to what is happening with WOWP. I'm wayy out of touch with it. :( I have seen bits of Best of Luck Nikki though. I like the cute baby - cause babies=cute in general but I haven't had the interest to sit through the show. I dont think I will.

Thank you! I'm enjoying it like you wouldn't believe. :)

It is fun in general :)

you're lucky. I'm still depending on Star World :(

They're repeating S1. Aired half of S3. Then decided to stop airing ALL American shows during day/noon/evening and air cartoons and crappy Indian shows instead :/

The Nikki baby is cute. But everyone else is so melodramatic and annoying :/

Off topic, do you watch Pyar ki yeh ek kahani? Just wondering.

That would explain why there is so much of Phineas and Ferb playing. Not that I'm complaining. :)

Most Indian Disney channel shows tend to be annoying. :(

I dont watch it but can I rage about it? Two words : TWILIGHT RIPOFF. (Mostly.)
Also, I cannot stand that lead actress. Couldnt stand her in Dill Mill Gayye and can't stand her even now. I'm sorry if you like it but the show just sets me off. :|

I too love Jennifer Carpenter, she's so - I dont know how to say it, she comes across very human though. Lovely she is. :)

Yes, the show is uber creepy and half the time I watch through my fingers clamped over my eyes. But I think I'll soldier on, it IS interesting. And there is a cute bb in the fourth season. :)

That's the thing about Community. I've heard many good things about it too but you know, it takes awhile for the show to pull you in. First few episodes, I wasnt particularly impressed or interested even. But I kept on and eventually I have come to like it. :)
