Genre: Eh, fluff I guess, lol
Notes: It's so pointless, but whatever :D;
Yamapi wonders if it’s normal, coming along to Arashi’s concerts all the time like this. It’s not that he’s obliged to or anything, he just enjoys it. For reasons he doesn’t really care to say out loud. Because well, Yamapi’s not that kind of person.
So he ignores his band mates; just shrugs off their questions with answers like, "Oh, just getting ideas for NEWS..." and they believe him for the most part. Or rather, Koyama does, being Koyama of course. On the other hand, Shige stares unsurely, Ryo wriggles his eyebrows, and Massu just nods and continues eating. Either way, Tegoshi’s particularly difficult to get rid of. His constant, "Ne~"-ing gets on Yamapi’s nerves just a little, and he finally agrees to take the boy along with him. Who in the end, clings way too much. But Yamapi’s a good sempai, so he leaves him be. He doesn’t think Tegoshi can do that much harm anyway.
It’s the third time he’s gone along now, during this tour. Yamapi decides it’s probably not normal. Definitely not normal. He pulls the beanie down further over his head because he doesn’t really want to get swamped by possessive fans, not really; urges Tegoshi to do the same. He speaks quietly, quickly to the security and soon they’re standing up right near the front, fans here and there giving them strange looks. The girl beside Yamapi pushes up against him a bit too hard and he knows she knows. He glances at her briefly and she smirks. She knows he knows she knows as well, apparently. Tegoshi laughs and places a reassuring hand on Yamapi’s arm, whispers in his ear.
"So who are you here to see?" Tegoshi nudges.
Yamapi chokes silently, rubs his nose. "Arashi?" he offers.
Tegoshi quirks an eyebrow and smiles. Knowingly. And Yamapi wonders, was he always this obvious?
He sighs, begins, "Ni-" but is cut off when the girl beside him presses into him again, and damn it, only Ryo is allowed to touch his ass. Not that he gets the chance to complain because the crowd suddenly screams so loud he thinks his eardrums might burst. He should be used to it by now, but apparently not.
Arashi pour out onto the stage and Yamapi is suddenly hit with that wave of something again, head sort of swimming, and he feels like such a fangirl it’s ridiculous and so blindingly abnormal. (He mentions this to Jin later over a soda; gets hit with a flying cushion and laughed at so hard that Yamapi feels like shrinking into the couch.)
And then he’s right there, right in front of him. And why the hell is Yamapi acting this way because it’s so wrong and stupid and pointless. Nino wraps an arm around Ohno, calls out to the crowd with the microphone in his free hand. Nino’s eyes scan the crowd and stop on Yamapi. He tilts his head curiously, shrugs and looks away again. Tegoshi grins and prods Yamapi in the side. Yamapi thinks he wants to say something but the crowd is too loud to hear over anyway, so he just ignores him. Besides, it’s easier than ignoring the fan beside him, damn.
After the concert is over, Yamapi is able to say that, without a doubt, he loves Nino’s solo. Tegoshi snorts, dumbfounded, and asks him if it really took him three concerts to decide that, but Yamapi hits him over the head and hails a taxi. He’s about to open the door when a hand shoots out and stops him. He looks at the boy, cap pulled down over his face, and opens his mouth to argue that, "Hey, this is my cab!" until Nino looks up and snickers at him. Tegoshi stifles his laughter.
"I thought it was you," Nino says, amused.
Yamapi nods and smiles at Nino, tries to hide the fact that he has no idea what to say. Nino rolls his eyes; subconsciously takes hold of Ohno’s sleeve when he appears beside him and greets Yamapi. "Will you come again next time?" Nino asks casually, but Yamapi notices. Notices the faintest splash of pink across Nino’s cheeks.
He laughs, "Yeah, sure," and nods, before Ohno drags Nino away and Tegoshi bundles him into the taxi.
"I wonder if I should tell the others..." Tegoshi mumbles to himself as they sit in almost silence in the back of the cab. (Clearly, the driver’s not interesting enough to warrant a conversation. Not by Tegoshi’s standards.) Yamapi coughs a little but pays no attention, thinks maybe, just maybe, it’ll work on the youngest member this time.
But when he gets into work the next day and Koyama is attempting to organize play dates with Nino for Yamapi and Ryo is smirking at him like that, Yamapi decides then and there, that no way in hell is he ever taking Tegoshi anywhere ever again. Even if he pesters him until his death.
