So, I am a teacher, and I went to my school's homecoming game today. It was a mess. They announced the wrong homecoming queen and king! It was ridiculous, and the sad thing is that I wasn't that surprised. Stuff like this is always happening at our school. We just can't seem to get it together. I love my kids, but the school like like a joke

It sounds to me as though you're in a transitional phase of life, and those can be very lonely. If it's any comfort, I've found that as one gets older, one makes fewer, but often better, friends. It's harder to do, but worth the effort. *hugs*
