Why is it that I can't find a single scrap of info on any of the local candidates? I can't even find an old news story on the elections on the Daily Freemans site.

It figures. I actually want to make an informed decision and I can't.

I'm not voting this year. I'm actually ashamed of it.

I changed my address too late to vote up here this year and I'm not driving down to Woodstock to vote for candidates I have not a shred of information on.

i couldnt find anything either. when i went to vote, i realized that it mostly didn't matter, because most of the candidates were running on EVERY line (so much for a choice...I wasn't going to write in Esther Gin, I'm sorry...). I've lived in Kingston long enough to know who some of the locals are...and honestly, I wound up voting based mostly on character. Its scary the way most of these people behaved. I'm disappointed that I couldn't make a more informed decision, though. It was only in the last 2 or 3 days that my mailbox was bombarded with flyers...and most of those didn't say anything beyond "vote for me!!!"
