He stopped at the outpost five days later and looked for the post office. Ginko could have had messages sent directly to his phantascope, but he liked the forced isolation. He didn't lack for human company whenever he wanted it. There was a message from Dr. X--If it is not too much trouble, perhaps you would like some tea on your next trip.--and one from Tanyuu--Thank you for your gift.
Ginko nudged the phantascope to send an unsigned notification to Dr. X giving his current coordinates, then smiled his half-smile and pinned Tanyuu's message to the sidebar in his phantascope. Shanghai/New Atlantis wasn't that far away.
