Jesse and Chander the Hybrid, now that's an unusual combo! Kind of makes me wonder what the heck Jesse has been doing with the last year and a half that he so clearly doesn't understand the needs of his pet, or what he's done to turn the effusive bubbly Chandler (I'm assuming he's the same "Dance With Somebody" character, yes?) into this meek scared little creature that seems spooked by his own shadow.

Loved the bit at the end where Kitty!Kurt was contemplating what would happen if he were to drop a paperback on Adam's head. LOL

I think Jesse is just too self-absorbed to pay much attention to Chandler's needs. That's why he got a hybrid, after other relationships didn't work out, where his partner was too independent. Yep, it's the same Chandler, but this one has been raised all his life as a hybrid, and trained to please whoever his owner might be, rather than being himself. I definitely like the show's Chandler better, but I feel sorrier for this one.

I just read this whole fic over the last couple of days. It's one of the best Kadam stories that I've read. I love how Kurt and Adam interact with and adapt to each other. Can't wait for the next update :)

Thank you! Wow, that takes dedication to read through this whole thing in just a couple of days! I'm glad you're enjoying it. The next update will be up soon. I've had to slow down to about once a week or so, because I have less time, and the story is getting more complicated, but I do intend to finish it.

Not really a fan of Jesse after reading about his and Adam's relationship backstory but for Chandler's sake I do hope he's not abusing Chandler! And he does have his good points, like introducing Kurt to April.

No, he's not abusing him, but he's treating him a bit more like a lot of people in this 'verse treat their pets. He doesn't consider his feelings as much as Adam does with Kurt. He's better than a lot, worse than others, but not nearly on Sebastian's level, for instance.
