Thank you! Yes, that smackdown is coming soon. I've had it written for a while, I just need to tweak it a bit, but it's about 2-3 chapters away.

April is being the perfect guest, nice and sweet and supportive of everything. Kurt seems to be calming and April's acceptance of his little stuffed animal family probably helped a great deal.

I'm sure she'll give Adam good reviews on his book but I hope she gives him a bit of honest criticism too. Adam doesn't strike me as the type who would be able to accept unstinting praise, probably convince himself that the other person was being condescending in an effort not to hurt his feelings. He and Kurt seem to have in common the inability to take a compliment at face value.

Kurt is definitely more relaxed around April now.

Yes, April's got some notes she's written down on the book, and some suggestions for how they're going to be able to adapt it. It's going to be more complicated than Adam realizes! And I agree, as much as he wants Kurt to gain confidence, he doesn't realize how much his own needs to be built up.
