were going to the zoo today...well after i get my insuracne and utility bills taken care of.

yay i found a new apartment! got a 1bedroom at paces river. its 459 a month, and i dont gotta pay any rent for november, AND they got a special going on where i get 300 off decembers rent, so im excited. gonna get hte keys to it next week but im gonna stay here til mid december, then get my electricity and stuff switched over to the new place.

finally got my computer set back up again so now i'll be able to draw...

i miss having time to draw... thats all i really feel like doing, but its the one thing i've sort of had to cut out of my way too busy life... i use the term "busy" loosely... i have free time, it just usually consists of me sleeping or staring blankly at the television... which reminds me... my tv died today. gotta buy a new one.

hahaha... so today me and dianne did a story on these people who grew an 85 pound watermelon. we went to there house and they also had a bunch of 50 pound ones, and when we were leaving htey gave us a basket of tomatoes, one of the 50 pound melons, and 2 little ones, so now we havea ll this watermelon laying around in the breakroom. we got some pix ( Read more... )

so i decided to adopt the kitten that laurie's husband found. i named him/her "Monster" cause he is one, lol. he's really friendly, but im having some trouble keeping him from scratching the carpet. i got a couple different scratching posts so that's helping. i have an appointment to take him to the vet on saturday, so he'll get all his shots and ( Read more... )

so i had to cover the harry potter book release last night at books a million. it was crazy. my intern, nathan, covered the ones at book worm and book rack, so on monday were probably gonna have a big package on that... even though its gonna be way late news, it should still be a fun story.
