That would have been creepy! Footsteps in the same place at the same time sounds like a residual haunt. It's not an active spirit, per se, so much as a "recording" of something that happened previously.

You're probably right. But at the time I didn't know about anything like that. (And probably wouldn't have been any less creeped out anyway, LOL.)
