well, there we go. i am now officially an employee of columbus public schools. my first day was quite eventful, and i'm a little sore as a result, but i had fun. we had to drag all kinds of desks, chairs, cupboards, shelves, auto parts, etc. from the east wing of the school & put it all on a giant tarp in our south gym. the reason: renovations of

they just showed a few pictures from Nebraska on the news here. Looks pretty bad. I hope it doesn't get worse :/

they showed pictures of *nebraska* in germany? lol, how strange. yeah, i hope it doesn't get worse too. it was a lot cooler outside today, so maybe that makes tornadoes less likely...i don't know anything about weather :S

Well, they reported about the tornadoes in the USA, and some of the footage was from Nebraska.

I don't find it strange to get news from other countries, that's kinda normal here.

well, i understand news from other countries, but nebraska in particular...well, we don't even hear much about this state in the U.S.!

before school ended, we watched a german version of "the price is right" in german class (der preiss ist heiss? lol)...it was kind of funny. mostly because i couldn't understand the german. i can only really translate when people talk really really really *really* slowly. but oh well. i still have one more year, maybe i'll get better.
