we don't have them here. we had pictures taken at my school near the end of 13th grade (senior year), but that was just coincidence, they took pictures of the entire school that year, and afterwards I think just the new 5th graders (first year of high school), for like a computer database of students that they started that year.
oh and I don't think you had food poisoning, it must've been something else. Well, maybe food poisoning exists in various degrees. Just cause I had food poisoning this past November, and I was really sick for over a week, with high fevers, vomiting, diarrhea (sorry to be a bit gross), headaches, and I could barely move. That sucked. Especially cause I was visiting Martin then...not the best way to spend time, and also not the best way to do a 10-hour bus-trip. Twice.
But yeah, maybe you had a slightly lighter case of it. Either way, I hope you feel better soon :)
yeah, it probably wasn't food poisoning then. because my mom got food poisoning a couple years ago after eating at a seafood place, and the results were similar to yours...pretty severe. my god, that must have been terrible...i hope martin took good care of you!!
i'm guessing that the "senior picture" tradition was started by american photographers who wanted to deprive american parents of all their money. the pictures themselves end up costing almost $1000! :eek!!
Yes, Martin took very good care of me. He made me soup and tea, and he went to the pharmacy to get me medicine...although the medicine they gave him kinda wasn't the right thing. They didn't believe him that I was actually sick, they were more like "sure she isn't hung-over or pregnant?"
stupid pharmacists...aren't they like, required to believe you? lol.
one thousand dollars---yeah, it's crazy. i mean, they charge you $75 to just sit and have the pictures taken, and then when you order them, you have to choose one of these package deals (where you can get different sizes and poses, etc. to give to the whole family) that are like, over $600. but my parents are crazy, and they want to get extra pictures and special frames and stuff to give to people, so it just keeps adding up...but oh well. the money's just coming out of my college fund. *rolls eyes*
