I had a bottle of white wine in my fridge from my party... I didn't cork it, but figured it would be fine. Anyway I poured a glass tonight and drank it... I have about 1/4 left and as I was taking a sip, I looked in and saw two little red/clear things floating. I looked closer and it had wings and eyes! I think I've been drinking fruit flies.

oh no i coulda told you that!

one of my friends is a vegetarian and he keeps fruit at his house all the time, he doesn't like to waste it, so he gets fruit flies a lot, uses a glass of wine to attract and kill them.

lesson learned! but what's more creepy is.....fruit flies IN the fridge.

I know! How the heck did they get in the fridge?!? Maybe it's from when it was outside at the party... but I doubt it. I mean it was just on my kitchen counter for a few hours....

Always cork or at least cover the wine. Other than the reason you cited, you don't want fridge odors contaminating your wine either.

I knowwwww about the myspace. I wanted that picture as the back ground, but it didn't really go as planned and i'm too lazy to fix it now. I'll figure it out sooner or later.

When it comes to MySpace, you should do the smart thing and just scrap it. He-he.

The ONLY reason I have a MySpace account is just to read my friends that are there. I HATE MySpace with a passion. It sucks hard.
