So i fell asleep last night around 12:30... i was awoken about 2:30 by something crawling up my arm. when i jumped out of bed and turned on the lights, i found i had a furry little friend less than a foot away from where my head had just been. I called this one Satan's little hellspawn...yes there are mice taking over my home

Maybe it's just because I'm animal friendly or at least rodent mangable, but hearing your story about a mouse infestation just reminds me of another story my parents told me about. They were young, at the time, and on a camping trip. While sleeping in their tent in the middle of the night, they felt scurrying across their sleeping bags, back and forth throughout the night, and it would constantly freak them out. Turns out the mice had found the tissue box and had decided it was the perfect nesting material, so after my Dad had figured this out, he moved the tissue box to the front of the tent, so they wouldn't scuttle over them anymore.

I still find that story incredibly cute to this day... but had I been in your position, I probably would have been just as freaked (or at least surprised) from having them come that close to your face.
