Happy new year. I'm thinking of spending more time here where I can write with a little more depth again. In recent years I've been pushed to the shallower and more toxic end of the social media pool by real life. I've realized that my time here created friendships while "keeping in touch" on facebook hasn't actually accomplished much beyond making

Hi! It's so good to see you post. I am a LJ returnee as well, and I'm right with ya with the divisiveness that Facebook engenders. Not a good place to expend energy.

I am so, so sorry about the loss of your precious Taradog.

How good to see you - I have wondered how life was treating you. I am sorry to hear about Tara dog - it is always so sad when they reach that point - we had to do the same for Willow in the spring, too.

So sorry to hear about TaraDog, but glad to hear from you again. I absolutely agree with you about Facebook. I've pulled back there to only checking to see pictures family and friends post.
