Hi, I'm Aimee. I'm a sophomore, going to school in Florida at the moment. I spent some time going to school at Warren Wilson in Asheville, but it's painfully expensive and I'm looking at going to a school with a wider range of classes, more resources, a fun environment, and cheaper tuition. The social work dept is ok. A few of the advisors are a bit scatter brained, but they are still cool. They make it VERY easy to transfer from the undergrad to the grad if you are taking that route. Apartments in boone are hard to come by now. You should have done most of the houseing stuff by late march. There are still alot of places open, but they are advertised through fliers, so, you'll have to look there.

The social life is... interesting. If you are looking for parties, then it isn't hard to find them. Lots of club stuff. We're not the wildest school, but we have our moments.
