I've been sitting on it since this morning because it's been so long since I've written Supernatural fic and I'm really not feeling all that sure about it, and also: longest day EVER, but I just have to do it right

Lovely. Bitter and bleak, indeed, but somehow Castiel brings hope. I love that he found Tessa and brought that hope to her. Well done.

Thank you! I'm so glad that you liked Tessa's presence here. Reapers are suddenly and inexplicably fascinating to me, and playing with the idea that Tessa might be a (or the?) reaper of hunters seemed fitting here, as did Castiel offering what help he can. <3
