This is kind of misleading though, because pretty much every country even within Latin America has its own accent.

arrowwhiskers , yes, I know. Specially, argentian has very special accent. But this test is more for entertainment. Moreover, it would be very diffiicult to make the test with so many results. :)

Based on this test I should be speaking European Spanish. And yet I've decided to stick with LatAm Spanish because of its simplicity (phonetical and grammatical) and because that's what I'm actually hearing on the street. Looks like something's wrong with the test. :) Namely, it shouldn't be focused so much on the cultural aspect.

Quiz divertido... pero, como elegir entre la paella y los burritos? Me gustan mucho los dos! ;)

Despite the fact that I chose Barcelona over Buenos Aires, Flamenco over Tango, Sangria over Tequila, Madrid over Mexico City, Caribbean over Canary Islands, and Almodóvar over novelas... this quiz still thinks I should speak Latin American Spanish. That's fortunate, because that's what I learned in school. Must've been because I hate paella. Mussel juice, ugh. :)
