I just got my medieval drama essay mark back, which is worth half of the 20 credit unit, having poured my heart and soul into it (as much as possible with all the life drama). M and I are moving into the Victoria Square flat! Got a viewing this afternoon and arranged to take it. The sneaky bit is it's a 'professionals only' flat- the landlord winced slightly when I mentioned 'student', but in my mum's words I 'did the posh routine' and appeared terribly efficient, explaining how we're sort of a teacher and a junior ( Read more... )

Progress on the flat! The eviction has been postponed for a month (ie giving me 5 weeks), and the brand new owners of the property are a company with a good reputation with this sort of thing. Ideally they will let us stay until the end of our contract, and if not we don't pay any rent until January when we find a new place. I'll hear the results ( Read more... )

Today:
1- pre-essay tutorial in which Alex says I should look into publishing my Drama essay. Awesome. I then clean the flat and feel lovely.
2- I learn of eviction notice for 2 weeks time.
Fuck.
