This is a really neat story. I'm always a fan of special abilities :)

Just a note. You use "belay" a couple of times in the fic. I think you mean the word "belie." However, "belie" means "to contradict or to prove false" so I don't think it's the exact meaning you're going for (in fact, you're probably going for the opposite definition).

Very interesting premise. This comment would be totally random in any other situation, but I loved the movie Firestarter with Drew Barrymore as a kid. The whole idea of special mental abilities is entirely intriguing.

I have to admit that I don't think I completely understand, in its entirety, what exactly Jensens craft is and what it enables him to do. But whatever - I liked it anyways :)
