OMG! What a horrible freestyle routine choice! I can't believe Marie's partner LET her do that. She didn't really dance at all. If she'd started out stiff, and then got good, it might have worked. But, wow, that sucked

Marie's dance was weird. The deliberate clumsiness of herself as a stiff doll... well, like Bruno said, how do you critique that? It was amazingly comic, and I think it was difficult, but I also think you are right; I expected her to go from doll to dancer, and that she didn't made it difficult to like. But what really worried us was after her samba! She was panting really hard again, just like when she collapsed before. I think the issue for her may be in the samba rolls. I cannot inhale as deeply as I need to if I'm bent forward, and the rolls are a required samba move. I'm rather glad she stayed upright

I was also surprised at the temper tantrum Marie had. EW compared her to Veruca Salt...
