swollen gums?

Nov 29, 2007 11:19

I know bleeding to death when you brush your teeth is normal right now, but I've been waking up with the gums behind my front teeth swollen. It could also be because I clench my jaw in my sleep and my bottom teeth are up against the gums all night, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

That was a run on sentence.
Ha.

Thanks ladies.

I get that, I also get the little bumps on my gums that are common as well.

Yep, same here! The bumps are gone though, they appeared for about a week but disappeared about a week ago.

I have a bump on my cheek, but it feels like I bit it in my sleep or something. Have I read that pregnancy can bring on gingivitus or am I imagining that?

I'd say "I'm glad I'm not alone" but this swollen gum thing is really annoying and I'm sorry! haha

Yeah, that's happened to me other times when my gums get bad enough to bleed. I'm having it right now just up behind one tooth. I'm hoping it doesn't spread out to the rest of my mouth.
