Happens to me all the time. I've asked both of the OB's I see about it, and the MFM Dr. One of the OB's and the MFM doc both looked at me like I'd grown 2 heads, but the other OB says it's most likely just baby's joints, and no big deal.

My husband can hear it across the room.

It hasn't happened to me, but could it be the baby putting pressure on one of your joints/bones and making you crack (like you crack your knuckles), but from the inside?

Yea, it's just weird because I didn't feel pressure on any of my bones or anything, I just heard something. I guess I'll just chalk it up to another fun pregnancy anomaly. :)

I have looked this up, up and down. And really it leads to nowhere. I hear the sound a couple times a day usually. There is a tag in pregnant for "clicking" which is the only thing it can be described as, but there's only a couple of posts here and there and again I don't think anybody really knows what it is. I think it's odd, but I'm assuming it's completely normal.

it's funny you post this I was talking to my MIL about this earlier. Lately when the baby does soem crazy gymnastics in there I hear what sounds like knuckles cracking or something, just one or two pops but they aren't THAT loud. Only I can hear it and it sounds to me as if I've popped my neck but I know it's the baby...she suggested maybe not the baby himself but some body parts in there or he got some fluid bubble that moved around but it def. sounds like bones popping.
