Sorry about the lack of updates - I've been so busy this week. I spent three days at Nanna and Grandad's for their 50th. It ws lovely! I saw cousins I hadn't seen in ten years! I've got some good photos of everyone - so hopefully I'll get round to doing a photo update soon

Ooo, how exciting, totally checking out the new blog! I posted on the highstreet yesterday about ethical clothes shopping and it amazed me how many folk seem to agree with me! I was just asking about where to get ethical undies thinking I didn't want to stir up trouble and start a huge debate but loads of people have pitched in saying they try and shop to avoid sweatshops too! I was amazed, I've never posted on thehighstreet before, I cruise it when I'm bored of working occasionally but always thought no one on there would be interested, they all seem too preoccupied by their latest Primark buy. But I'm totally going to post again in the future I think :-)

I rarely go on the highstreet any more - I've never posted there. There's too much Primark and Topshop there for my taste!

I was thinking about making some undies last month. I never got round to it since I don't have the cash at the minute, but I might have a go soon. They can't be that hard right?

I've tried it, I've got a book that has a rough pattern and instructions in it, I can scan it and email it to you if you like? I found them a bit tricky size-wise, the first pair I made were too small but I added bits at the sides and they fit just fine now! They're made from an old t-shirt so the material is really comfy. I should take a photo, they're in the wash at the mo but when they come out I'll show you!

It's alright - I found a pair in one of mum's old sewing books. They're a bit high-waisted though :D
