Time: a great healer
I've said it before, but it bears repetition: lots of life=not much blogging.
Good things are:- I got to speak to the wonderful Nikki via Skype- she is in West Virginia, I'm in Cardiff and yet by the miracle of modern technology, we got to speak. For free (well, other than what we already pay for internet). And she could see me, though I couldn't see ( Read more... )

Concerns
My brother has had surgery while on holiday in Sydney. Might not be able to fly back this weekend.
Poor boy has literally the worst luck of anyone I know :-/

I'm a stereotype
While on shuffle, my iPod played kd Lang's Constant Craving, the L Project's It Does Get Better, Amy Winehouse's Valerie and Pink's U + UR Hand one after the other today, despite having a very eclectic (and not stereotypically lesbian) collection of music on it.
My iPod is clearly just as gay as me.

I'm so, so glad input my foot down for this holiday- I was determined that I wasn't going to miss out on everything just because someone else is... Well, who she is. I've written and deleted so many blog posts over the last few weeks. Mostly, that's because over that period of time things have got both an awful lot worse and an awful lot better. I've had more than enough of even thinking about Diane, however- so I've decided to focus on the awful lot better :)

Isn't it weird how Facebook has become a real indicator of the level of importance you hold to somebody? Someone offends you- unfriend. They continue to offend you- block. You can't see them at all. They might be saying things that you don't like, but at least you don't know about it. If they say something that would *really* offend you, someone ( Read more... )
