Summary: Ryo had a mental problem. He will become devious at midnight every night. Tatsuya knows that the first day they slept together, but his love give him strength to endure ‘the mad side of Ryo’.
Tatsuya turned the faucet on and water began pouring down into the sink. He only watched as water made its way into the hole and down the drain. Slowly, he brought his trembled hand under the pouring water. He winced a little as the water get in contact with the cut on his palm. The water felt like sting on his palm as it washed the blood away. Suddenly, Tatsuya felt like he can’t stand it anymore. Slowly, his eyes burning as tears build up in the corner. Using the back of his other hand, he wiped the tears away.
Ryo has started using knife, or other sharp tools. His volume of violence has increased lately. Before, Ryo only hurt him using bare hands. Usually, he wouldn’t get bloody. There were only bruises appeared the next day. But now, Tatsuya has lost count how many cuts he has on his fragile body. No normal human can stand this, no matter how much they love the other person. ‘Thumps!!’ suddenly there was a loud bang followed by angry knocked on the door. Tatsuya froze. Quickly, he turned off the water faucet. He stayed still like a statue and unconsciously held his breath. He didn’t dare to move even a little, even though there’s no possible hiding himself from the wrath of the madman on other side of the door. “Tatsuya, open the damn door!” Ryo shouted making Tatsuya trembling in fear. “Open this second or I’ll kill you!” Tatsuya stumbled on the floor, giving away to his tears. He held his knees tight to his chest and stayed in the same position cried his heart out for the rest of the night.

The teeth grazing, tongue dancing, the biting, sucking and nibbling drugging them high and drown the two men in love in ecstasy. Their right hands clasped together, holding tightly don’t want to let go. Ryo held the back of Tatsuya’s head to bring him closer and deepening their kiss. Tatsuya was lying on his back on the bed with Ryo hovered on top of him. As expected, after a while, Tatsuya felt Ryo’s tears wetting their faces. “It’s not your fault. You are not aware of it,” Tatsuya assuring him. He patted the back of Ryo’s black hair.
“You should let me go. Tatsuya, please let me go,” Ryo said pleadingly. He rested his forehead on Tatsuya’s chest, feeling the warmth there.
“Can you live without me? Hmm, Ryo? I can’t live without you, that’s for sure. Now, stop this useless conversation. I want you to touch me. Make love to me, baby.” Ryo raised his head ever so slowly, still sobbing. Roughly, Tatsuya brought Ryo’s head down again and claimed his wet lips. “Ryo, all this wounds carved on my body are made by you. You have to be responsible with it. It symbolizes the bond that binds both of us. So, don’t you ever think of leaving me, you got that? Tatsuya whispers in his ears. Ryo took a long time before giving him a weak nod. Their love making was as gentle as possible. Ryo can’t bear hurting Tatsuya more than what he already did and he will do to Tatsuya. He has not an ounce of will power to stop his madness when it engulfed him.

Tatsuya blinked his eyes and tried to get up. But his whole body felt sore and in extreme pain. When he tried to adjust to the light, he realized that it is already morning. Tatsuya looked at himself and found him completely naked. It took all his strength left to just sit up on the bed. He looked beside him and found no Ryo. He looked around the room and in the bathroom, but still no Ryo. He tried to call Ryo but his throat was dry with all the screaming. Finally, he able to stand, found something to cover his lower body and searched the house for Ryo. When he can’t find Ryo everywhere, he began to panic. He fetched his cell phone and tried to call Ryo but the other phone has been turn off. Tatsuya scrambled to put on some clothes and went outside. Despite of his condition, he limped to everywhere he thought Ryo might be.
Tatsuya searched all day and waited for Ryo to call but until the end of the day, Ryo was nowhere to be seen. At the park, Tatsuya leaned on a tree and cried his heart out. His biggest fear has come to haunt him. Ryo has indeed left him. The love he thought was strong not enough to prevent this from happened. The shock was too strong that he cried under the tree until no more tears can come out, until it was pitch black at night and he was found by a police officer that was checking the neighborhood. Worried about his condition, the police brought him to the hospital and they found out that he was raped. He was questioned but for the whole session, he just shut his mouth like a mute person. “We are sorry to inform that,” the informer said again after a long silence.
“Can…can you send him back? Can he come back to me?” Tatsuya asked with teary eyes.
“We afraid can’t because he is considered as very dangerous right now. We are really sorry that he came here was not a good decision.”
“At least, can I visit him? I need to see him, please!” Tatsuya said straining his voice.
“Sure, that is what we would like to asked. The doctor wants to meet you.”
“He was a nice person. Nishikido-san is,” Dr. Takagi said. Tatsuya stared at his hand not wanting to meet the doctor’s sharp gaze. Dr. Takagi sighed. ”I’m so sorry, Ueda-san. We have tried everything we can but we failed eventually. I came to the conclusion when I observed every time he is sane is the only time when he want to talk about you. You are the only thing in his mind that keeps his sanity. But giving him up and let him come back to you is not the option now, he barely even look like a person most of the time,” Dr. Takagi said gently. Tatsuya can’t hold his tears the longer he stays in the room. The more the doctor said only adding new wound in his broken heart. “I want to see him,” was the only words that came out from Tatsuya’s mouth. “I’ll let you see him, but he is tied up to his bed, because he had tried to hurt people now and then.”
Dr. Takagi escorted Tatsuya to the place were Ryo is held. Along the way, they can see a lot of people that is not really in their right mind playing freely like a small child. They smile and laugh innocently and teasing each other not really knowing who they play with or what they doing. But these people won’t hurt other people, unlike Ryo. Tatsuya look away. Why only Ryo? Why they have to endure such thing when other people don’t have to? “God must know both of you are incredible person and can endure HIS test. He won’t burdened his people more than what they can take,” Tatsuya jumped in shock as a middle age man suddenly came to him and said that. “Morimoto-san, stop teasing other people!” Dr. Takagi said. The man grinned widely and ran away laughing. Tatsuya can’t stop thinking about what the man said after they continue walking.
“Ueda-san, we are here,” Dr. Takagi said bringing Tatsuya back into reality. Tatsuya look at the room in front of him. The door is closed. “I can let you go in but if anything happens, call us quickly,” Dr. Takagi said. Tatsuya nodded slowly. Dr. Takagi knocked on the door gently. After a few moments, he opened the door and went inside followed by Tatsuya. “Nishikido-san, you have a visitor,” Dr. Takagi informed. Tatsuya saw a white bed in the middle of the white room and a man tied up on it. The man looks the other way, at the direction of the window. He didn’t stir nor look at Dr. Takagi as he speaks.
Tatsuya fell his heart swelling and tears forming as he saw the man that he love and he wait for months in front of his eye. That time, he didn’t care anymore about what happened to them, what he care only to touch the man again and tell him that he was here. “I’ll go now,” Dr. Takagi said before slip out from the room and closed the door. Tatsuya took the time to examine thorough fully the man in front of him. It is indeed Ryo, his one and only Ryo. Even though he is tied up and unkempt, he is still his Ryo. Eventually, Tatsuya start crying.
“Why are you crying?” a voice asked him. Tatsuya lift his head and with his blurry vision because of the tears, he can clearly saw Ryo looking at him, straight at him without realizing that he is Tatsuya. He was so sad that he can’t produce any word.
“WHY THE HELL ARE YOU CRYING??!! GET OUT OF MY ROOM RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!” Ryo yelled suddenly and Tatsuya took a step back to the door in shock. He took his right hand and covered his mouth as tears keep on rolling on his cheeks. Ryo glared at Tatsuya angrily. He tried to get up from the bed and end up thrashing badly because of the chains on this hands and feet. Tatsuya stumbled on the floor and he was crying loudly.
“Ryo…please. It’s me, Tatsuya!”
“You are not Tatsuya!! YOU ARE NOT MY TATSUYA!! I don’t know you, GO AWAY!!” by this time, Ryo had come to the brink of his madness; he rolled on his bed vigorously tried to free himself from the chains.
“LET GO OF ME!!! Arggghh!!!” Ryo right hand manages to reach a vase on the table next to him and throw it at Tatsuya’s direction. At the same time, Dr. Takagi and some nurses open the door and push Tatsuya aside and the vase didn’t hit him.
“Why can’t you remember me, Ryo?!! WHY???!!!!!!!!!” Tatsuya screamed. He struggled to break free from the doctor and nurses who tried to get him out from the room.
“Ueda-san, please!”
“RYO! It’s me, Tatsuya!!! Please, remember me, Tatsuya!!” he screamed and cried his heart out.
“Ueda-san, its no use!” one of the nurse shouted at him. With one last effort, they manage to drag Tatsuya out from there. Tatsuya screamed and wailed and cried and calling Ryo’s name all the time. The last moment before the door was closed; Tatsuya can see that Ryo was crying. Tatsuya used all his strength and pulled himself from them and open the door wide, and there Ryo lay on the bed crying slowly and looking at Tatsuya.
“This is a miracle,” Dr. Takagi said in shock.
“Tatsuya,” Ryo whispers slowly. His gaze fell on Tatsuya who stand in front of him, sobbing.
“Tatsuya…you are Tatsuya,” Ryo said. His crying becomes frantic and his body was shaking badly. Tatsuya brought his feet closer to Ryo and hugging him tightly.
“Ryo, please don’t leave me again!” Tatsuya said burying his face in Ryo’s chest.
“The next minute maybe I will forget you again,” Ryo said between his cries.
“It’s ok, I don’t care. We will work that out. I know you can be healed. We will do this together. Just stay with me. Promise?” Tatsuya said, this time looks at Ryo. Ryo nodded.
Tatsuya closed the distance between them by bringing their lips together in a kiss. It was so deep, so full of wanting, so many feeling mixed up in it making it a passionate kiss ever. After a while, they broke up for air.

“Ueda-san, its no use!” one of the nurse shouted at him. With one last effort, they manage to drag Tatsuya out from there. Tatsuya screamed and wailed and cried and calling Ryo’s name all the time. The last moment before the door was closed; Tatsuya can see that Ryo was crying. Tatsuya used all his strength and pulled himself from them and open the door wide, and there Ryo lay on the bed crying slowly and looking at Tatsuya.
“This is a miracle,” Dr. Takagi said in shock.
“Tatsuya,” Ryo whispers slowly. His gaze fell on Tatsuya who stand in front of him, sobbing.
“Tatsuya…you are Tatsuya,” Ryo said. His crying becomes frantic and his body was shaking badly. Tatsuya brought his feet closer to Ryo and hugging him tightly.
“Ryo, please don’t leave me again!” Tatsuya said burying his face in Ryo’s chest.
“The next minute maybe I will forget you again,” Ryo said between his cries.
“It’s ok, I don’t care. We will work that out. I know you can be healed. We will do this together. Just stay with me. Promise?” Tatsuya said, this time looks at Ryo. Ryo nodded.
Tatsuya closed the distance between them by bringing their lips together in a kiss. It was so deep, so full of wanting, so many feeling mixed up in it making it a passionate kiss ever. After a while, they broke up for air.
Tatsuya open his eyes to see Ryo stared at him blankly.
