I had a similar experience as far as seeing the shyest kid in your class breakdancing... This girl Melissa, who was a year behind me in high school and was quite shy and quiet, was a friend of a friend of mine (she later became my friend). I show up to this friend's party and sure enough, there's quiet little Melissa breaking it down on the dance floor. I was shocked.
