I've been curious for awhile (and also in my quest to find high competitive/ability sports. Which in volleyball is harder than it SHOULD be) but how would one go about looking to join a derby team? It's a sport I know about, but have no idea how participation would work.

Hey I think that being one of those 3-5 people is pretty great! Also... I have had to do similar stuff like that working at summer camp and in some of my more serious acting classes and it is AWESOME. It is insanely awkward but it like, really makes you feel connected to people during/after. I'm so glad there are other groups doing it. (I think it's especially important in women's groups where we can be so passive aggressive and competitive.) :)

LOVE this post!
