So I get that I am kind of one of those people who insists that the world isn't as scary a place as people want to make it out to be. I don't think it's scary to walk home at 3 am when the bars are closed. I do lock my doors and take easy precautions like that but I'm not into overly worrying about what every bad person in the world is going to

I hate to sound like a U.S. Senator, but I really think this is something we can blame movies for, this idea that people can be some crazy badass like James Bond when they have a gun. I don't get it either.

seconded. i don't get/like guns. it always seems like the people who least need to carry a gun, do. scary...

There seriously are photographers out there packing heat! You better watch out! lol

And I kind of agree about the movie thing. ALWAYS in the movies, when the bad guy comes, the characters magically know how to use the guns they "luckily" found. I'm pretty sure most wouldn't know what they are doing.

This is going to sound so bad, but sometimes I feel like people are all about guns just because they have the 2nd amendment right to have them. It's weird to say this because I think having rights is great, but sometimes I think maybe I'd be fine with NOT having that right. But then again, I think that would probably really put them in the hands of all the wrong people.
