1. I did all but two loops of a route on my own today. And I came back with enough time that I easily could have finished the whole thing (but other people had already taken the loops). I mean, today was a light mail day, but still! Yesssss ( Read more... )

The first time I listened to Dixie and Qui about the setlock photos, I sat shaking with laughter. Truly shaking. Then I listened to it two more times.

I was suppressing the laughter so as not to attract attention. It was extremely difficult.

Also, I finally got to hear your voice! I'm terrible with accents, but I swear you sound a bit like a New Yorker.

Huh. Born in upstate New York, moved to central New Jersey at age 7, lived in Korea from age 10 until college, then Philadelphia straight through.

Dix and Qui are evil geniuses. :-)

I love listening to three-patch while out walking. I try sometimes while I'm in the shower by plugging it into my bathroom radio but the volume is tricky, for the same reasons you mentioned.

I was avoiding all spoilers that I could but finally I broke down and listened to the first spoilercast. Haven't decided if I'll listen to the rest yet or wait. I'm so glad for the 6.5 podcast; listened to part of it while walking today!

I have zero problem with reading graphic slash on the MAX (with my phone set to tiny print so people can't read over my shoulder) but somehow getting paid to listen to slash (while I deliver mail) seems wrong!

M puts his ipod in his shirt pocket and just plays it at a reasonable volume bc he doesn't want to get caught with headphones. But he listens to music and not slash podcasts ;)

If you ever want to listen to an incredibly funny podcast, try You Look Nice Today. It's no longer being made, but there are a bunch of episodes.

Awe! I'm so glad you were listening to Spoilercast. We recorded these on the fly so the audio and volume was sometimes a bit inconsistent. I think it gets better in later episodes - though there was that one where I was podcasting outside in Hawaii and the wind kept screwing with my mic.

I can only imagine how tricky it might be to regulate volume etc. when everyone is on different continents!

But I'm really excited, because I've always wanted so badly to have the patience to listen to the podcasts and I just couldn't before.

Oh god. I only have seasons two and three of Cabin Pressure on there. I should put one and four on there and then marathon them over, like, a few days.
