I honestly don't know if it's my browser (I'm using Chrome on the work computer but we do have Firefox and Explorer) or the computer itself but it does not get along with LJ. Trying to look at my f-list gave me a spinny wheel forever and ever, so I went back to just opening individual blogs, and it doesn't like Read Mores (I have to open them in ( Read more... )

Why is it with all the advances since 2002, it's hard to find a browser that can just read a webpage? Seems pretty simple if you ask me!

Its a month later, but still:

I think that software and web developers constantly think that people are way more into apps and e-commerce, and e-business and other fancy things than they really are, and that they are way less into having a browser that just links simple web pages than they really are.

I think it might be a flash or java issue.

It's a pain in the butt to read individual blogs instead of my f-list, I end up looking at a lot of LJ's that haven't updated, and still missing people and posts. My profile doesn't even show all the names of people I've friended, and clicking "more" doesn't do anything. Bah. What a pain in the ass.

How frustrating! I use Chrome at home and have never had an issue with LJ, but then I used Explorer up until about two years ago (I know, I know!!) so I'm not one to talk when it comes to using shitty browsers.

I hope you're able to figure out the issue! LJ is blocked on my work computer (as is just about everything not work-related, so I can only use my phone during the day).
