Person of Interest, "Death Benefit"

Just finished a re-watch of Death Benefit. I was paying close attention to the dialogue.
This isn't a full discussion of the ep, but just some thoughts that occured to me as I connected some dots.

First, I was so happy when we had the familiar and beloved exchange between Reese and Finch:

"Finch, you there?"
"Always, Mr. Reese."

On second watch, knowing how the episode ends, it's so sad to hear it. Finch won't be there if Reese asks that question now. Argh.

Finch has known for awhile, via Root's info from the Machine, that if Samaritan goes online, they will end up dead. He tells Reese the same thing in the ep. Reese asks him how he knows Samaritan isn't already online and answers, "because we'd be dead."

And then there's all the stuff with the discussion of what their work is, to save lives and not to kill and how could the Machine be asking them to kill the Congressman. And how Finch says "this is where I get off" and all that and they are trying to evade the police in NYC with the wounded Shaw and Finch looking up at the Machine and thinking whatever dark thoughts he's thinking. (Can't believe some viewers think he meant "this is where I get off" and is leaving because of that when it's obviously to protect Reese and Shaw.)

Anyway, when Greer is talking to the Congressman about 24 hour access to show off Samaritan's abilities, what does he tell him he'll do in that time?

He says, "I will find you a terrorist."

The Senator scoffs and says something along the lines of "you could find me a hundred terrorists" as if that's not the main thing he wants.

Cut to the "ribbon cutting" when Samaritan goes online and Greer, all happy, says, "Find me... Harold Finch."

Yes, we know he wants Finch because he just hates him and wants to kill him and ruin the Machine so Decima can take over the world. He's been looking for Finch for years now.

But I haven't seen anybody mention this yet -- look at the two lines:

"I'll find you a terrorist."

"Find me Harold Finch."

Is this his plan? Not to just, say, shoot Finch on sight or try to get access to the Machine from him... but I think he might end up capturing Finch and bringing him in to the government saying Finch is a terrorist.

And I am now more worried than ever.

(Oh, please don't provide me with spoilers you've seen regarding this. I'd just like to hear thoughts anyone has about it based only on the ep itself. Thanks.)
