Weekly happy post

A friend here on LJ, draycevixen has started making weekly happy posts, where she collects five things she is happy about and posting them on Mondays not only for herself but to add to the LJ traffic on Mondays. I think I'm going to follow suit and if anyone else wants to join in, I'd love it!

Too bad about DC! I lived there for almost FIVE years! I just moved back to Texas two weeks ago, lol.

We had our first real summer day here, with the too high temperature and all :D (well too high for me, I get nauseous easy in the heat) But everything is so GREEN and I love it, and the air smells summery now that this one tree species has started blooming, and I bought a box of ice cream sticks ^_^ Summer! \o/

I wonder if we'll get some thunder and lightning and rain later this week, love that too, at least from a safe location :D
