There was a fire in the basement of my complex last night. I live pretty much right above said fire. No ones smoke alarms went off. The entire side of the place was evacuated, and I sat in my car and froze. I ended up staying at my brother's 'cause I couldn't stand the smell/smoke once everything cleared. It still stinks, and I never got renter's

That's no good at all! I'm sure that they should clean out the smoke damage for you because seriously who would rent from there in the future if it smells like that!

Are your sugar gliders doing okay? Did you have to take them with you to your brothers?

Of course I took the kids with me! They are ok, I'm working on getting my place cleaned, and they are going to clean the carpets. No matter what, I will have a good smelling apartment. I've officially turned the bitch switch on.

You go girl! I hope that it comes out of the carpet. I should call my cousin he does fire and smoke repair in homes and I'm sure he would know what to use.

It's definitely gotten a lot better. They are cleaning my carpets today, but I've been febreezing up a storm. Hopefully it just goes away altogether.
