Our love is like dividing by zero; you cannot define it~
We were given: Two hands to hold. Two legs to walk. Two eyes to see. Two ears to listen. But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find. -Unknown
You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams. ~Dr. Seuss
Of course I would. I'd call you a stalker but I totes would :D ... Do you have a quarter? My mother told me to call home when I met the girl of my dreams.
omg, are you me? Because OR BUY ME A ROSE BUSH/SAPLING OF SOME SORT TO PLANT IN MY YARD AND LOVE FOREVER. is exactly what I think! cut flowers are such a waste of money and it's sad too (dying plants!) plus most of the time they're not fair-trade at all. Give me a potted plant anyday and I will love it (and probably the giver) forever.
As for the let's-not-be-alone-on-Vday date....eh. I don't really get people moaning about being 'alone' on Valentine's. Since you're not one of those, then you shouldn't feel bad about refusing to be the sit-in for the pity party.... feel free to be a heartless harpy, I'll be one with you. :D
Lol nope, not you although I'm very glad that someone gets what I'm talking about when I say I kind of find getting/giving cut flowers pointless. It's a trait I've picked up from my mom to graciously accept flowers when someone gives them to me and then try, furiously, to make them root in my front yard the moment I get home or they leave XD
Come, let us sharpen our pointy sticks together >:D ... I've never understood the "woe is me" aspect of being single on Valentine's day either because
February 14th is just another day.
Yeah people spend more money and time trying to say "I love you" and generally make fools of themselves by being pretentious and grandiose for one day and then hating/arguing with each other for the other 364 but I'd rather my declarations of love be sincere and heartfelt than said as a part of some ridiculous act or thrown out as an afterthought. Wow. Run-on sentence. Thank you for setting my conscience at ease :)
the way I see it, people who hate and argue with each other for the rest of the year don't really get up to much on Valentine's Day...whereas it can be a sweet moment for those who are in good relationships. Ideally you'd spend every day telling your SO that you love them, of course. But I totally agree with you, in many cases V-Day is totally insincere and seems to celebrate being paired off for no other reason than being paired off. :/

If I followed you home, would you keep me?
